Part of northern Russia’s inland sea the White Sea belongs to the Arctic Ocean basin and is the only sea in Europe to freeze every year. We start this adventure with a fantastic full day Husky dogsledge safari before we drive through the untouched wilderness of Finland and Russia on our way to the lodge. We travel to ice diving sites by snow scooters and you will be mesmerized by the beautiful ice formations and marine life in the frozen ocean.
